I know it’s been a minute since I’ve produced a podcast episode, but I could write an entire book on what’s gone on since I last published one. There is so much to be said if you are paying attention to what’s going on in the world. But, how many times have I written a podcast episode only to pull it back and sit on it? I had a completely different podcast that I had written and planned to record today, but the truth is that my temper was burning when I saw this book appear while the fires will still burning on Maui. For those that don’t know, I lived on Maui for several years. I ate lunch in Lahaina daily at Choice Health Bar. As many of us did, I watched the events of those days in horror of what was occurring. It was my home! I know that area and I know that this is just not something that occurs there! My dogs and I hiked in the west maui mountains daily. We went up via the jeep trail and made out way to the top for the vast open views over Lahaina. We used to sit up there and watch whales in the distance on occasion. Wow Guys! What a week it was last week!

So much happening in the world right now! It’s an amazing (and challenging) time to be here!

I’m on a roll with the truth bombs, now it’s time I let you know that most people really don’t care to hear them! The publishing industry is a funny world. People have this idea of fortune and fame the other side of a written book. But, the success, like in many fields, is in the hustle.

There’s a wonderful quote by Mark Twain that says:

“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled.

There is another quote that says:

“If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes truth.”

There is another that say:

“Silence is the best reply to a fool.”

I want to talk about the idea of discerning the narrative and the deception of truth on today's episode. What I mean by this in particular is how we know our truth and how we stand within it when we are surrounded by the manipulation of a particular narrative…whether this is by that of the media or the people that surround us in our day-to-day lives. There is either a manipulative agenda we fall into as a result of the toxicity around us and the collective beliefs or storylines therein…or we break free…perhaps into the idea of dreaming our world into being… by understanding the story that must play out to awaken humanity.

There are gifts and pains in awareness. The gifts are knowing how things will play out, but the pains are in waiting for others to awaken. I suppose it would be much like raising a child. They are either not mature or experienced enough to see or they simply cannot see into the corruption of life...

So have you heard all this talk about the United States being a corporation and not a republic? Whoa! OK, so this kind of stuff has never been my specialty, but I’m going to do my best to explain this to you in the simplest of ways…because, after all, we have been talking about the truth around here lately.

So, in 1871 Congress passed an act that formed a corporation known as THE UNITED STATES. The original Constitution drafted by the Founding Fathers read: ‘The Constitution for the united states of America.’ Something also to note is that neither the words ‘united’ nor ‘states’ began with capital letters!
